Time Away from Work Program
We all need time away from work, and Wolters Kluwer offers a variety of options to support your overall wellbeing and help you maintain a healthy work-life balance. Options for time away from work include:

Make your choice checklist:
- Take advantage of time away when you need it. There is no action you need to take to enroll in the Time Away from Work Program. However, it’s important to review the different types of time away that are available, so that you’re prepared when you need to take advantage of them. Learn more.
- Consider your vacation time needs. If you feel you may need additional vacation time, you may purchase additional days. You can only buy additional vacation days during Annual Enrollment each fall, so it’s important to plan ahead.
- Plan ahead and speak with your manager when you need to take time away. As soon as you know you need to take time away, speak with your manager and ensure all business needs are covered while you are away. Depending on the type of leave, you may need to apply so be sure to speak with your manager and take the necessary steps.
Tuition Assistance
As you invest in yourself, Wolters Kluwer invests in you. We understand that continued education is important and may help you reach your professional goals, so the Tuition Assistance Plan provides financial assistance for undergraduate and selected graduate courses of study up to $5,250 per year.
Full-time employees are eligible for this program after 6 months of employment. There is no action you need to take to enroll in this program.


Adoption Assistance
Wolters Kluwer provides a financial assistance benefit to help defray the cost of adoption expenses. The program covers eligible expenses associated with an adoption up to $10,000 per child.
All full-time employees are eligible for this program. Part-time employees who are regularly scheduled to work at least 20 hours per week are eligible after 1 year of service. There is no action you need to take to enroll in this program. When you have eligible expenses, you will need to file for reimbursement, following the process outlined here.
